Pray

I am in the final preparations to attend the Call2All .

It has been a complicated journey.

• Three weeks ago I submitted my passport to get a Nigerian Visa. They still have my passport and the processing time still says that it will take weeks before I get it back. Possibly even after the trip I need the visa for. It is a long complicated process. As I complained about it I was told that the system is reciprocal. This is what the US requires of Nigerians. So now I wait and pray that it gets processed in time.

• On Wed, I was able to get an appointment with the US passport office (they would not give me one earlier). By the end of the day, I was able to get a second passport because of the Nigerian visa delay.

• I have tried to submit the Kenya visa, but could not get it to go through until this morning. The processing time can take 72 hours, but I only have 36 hours before my flight takes off and 61 hours before arriving in Kenya. There is no Visa on arrival.

• I need the Visa to be processed today, but it is 5:30PM in Kenya and that means it might not get looked at for a bit.

• Praying for a bit of a miracle.
